Where we differ is that I'm not quite the smart-ass with my in-laws as you are with yours. I just simply have no entrée into their conversations. Until recently, I used to slink away from the crowd after exchanging pleasantries and find a comfortable couch on which to nap. Now, I'm a bit more engaging now that my wife spoke to them about how they've been cutting me out.

BTW.. my comment is in reference to my brothers and sisters in-law. My mother and father in-law passed away a quite a few years back and I can't think of them as being anything other than dear, sweet, generous people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35348628.post-25916445071804883132008-12-03T02:30:00.000-05:002008-12-03T02:30:00.000-05:00here's to Christmas!here's to Christmas!Montgomery Maxtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12802362199202674977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35348628.post-37427751947575211542008-12-02T11:50:00.000-05:002008-12-02T11:50:00.000-05:00I hate to ruin the good vibes of 'glad that shit i...I hate to ruin the good vibes of 'glad that shit is over' but don't forget, The Worst Holiday Ever® will soon be upon us. ;-)Randal Graveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08728992897551848531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35348628.post-80895579748389986042008-12-02T01:32:00.000-05:002008-12-02T01:32:00.000-05:00I'm thankful you got through it in one piece.I'm thankful you got through it in one piece.Dr. Monkey Von Monkersteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14370062692837972451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35348628.post-72372541744849957462008-12-01T23:41:00.000-05:002008-12-01T23:41:00.000-05:00Once I had similar experiences. My wife would go and I stayed back and enjoyed my solitude. She understood so there was never an issue between us.willhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15590217997145761582noreply@blogger.com
