I know. Long time, no post. That's because I have been in the HOSPITAL since last Tuesday night. Apparently, I provided dinner for a tick infected with Lyme Disease, and it rewarded me with lots and lots of nasty viruses which made me sicker than I've ever been! (Than I can remember, anyway. But every time I get sick, I think it's the worst ever, so who knows.)
Anyway, I'm home now, attempting to get back in the saddle, and will no doubt think of some totally SCINTILLATING material for my next post. But this is the best I can do tonight.

Oh no!!!! I wondered where you'd been.
Feel better soon.
Darlin'. I'm so sorry to have nagged you all the time you were in the hospital. But now that you are home, recuperating, why not take this opportunity to kill the motherfucker who brought you into contact with a tick carrying Lyme disease. I am of course, assuming it was a man.
I'm not a natural nagger. I consider myself a mentor. So, sugar, start writing your story of a dangerous woman. I have no doubt she's in there yearning to get out some way. Put her on the page.
Holy crap! I'm glad you're home and I hope you're doing better.
Yikes! Get better soon!
i hate limes.
Get well soon.
Thank you all for your good wishes. It is wonderful to have such a wide network of well-wishers.
But utah, I don't want to kill "the motherfucker who brought (me) into contact with..." the tick, because it was my beloved hubby, and neither he nor I even thought about ticks, during our lovely walk in the woods. I am, however, during my few lucid moments, working up some ideas for the "dangerous woman" scenario. :)
And Montgomery, "limes" will never again seem like innocent, green fruit to me. :)
Perhaps you and hubby should consider taking a romantic tick-bath together once a week...
Lyme disease. Ewww. I hope you are much better. I am sorry you had to go through that. How'd you get lyme disease anyway? Yeah, I know you got it from a tick, but where did you get the tick?
fingers: Mmmmmm..."a romantic tick bath..." I can just see the little buggers floating on top of the water. A real turn-on!
omo: I'm better, but not good yet. I'm getting pretty sick of being sick. Where did I get the tick? That's easy. Hubby and I do a lot of hiking, and go to the woods at least a couple times a month. That, I'm afraid, will not happen again until winter, when the little bastards are dead and gone.
Hey mate. Sorry to hear you've been feeling like crap. Get better soon eh?
What the hell is Lyme disease!
Glad to hear you're on the way back. Ticks bites can have some nasty complications, including Lyme Disease.
Holy cow. Get better now!
My Mom had Lyme disease. It's no laughing matter. Take care of yourself.
