Pretty Ugly
I feel pret-ty, oh so pret-ty...
No! You're ugly!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Pretty is as pretty does.
Beauty is only skin deep; ugly goes clear to the bone.
Maybe plastic surgery would help.
She already had plastic surgery.
Oh...sorry...
My dog doesn't care what I look like. He loves me, as long as I feed him and take him for walks.
My cat doesn't care what I look like. She loves me, as long as I feed her and cater to her every whim.
Blind people don't care what I look like, as long as I stay far enough away so they can't feel my face.
Kind people pretend not to notice what I look like.
Cruel people stare.
I say, "Fuck you all! I don't care what I look like."

Madam Z - Beauty is so subjective. I'm guessing from your writing that you're quite deliciously beautiful.
I don't know about you, but I prefer quirky beauty instead of paper doll beauty. I always have.
Good for you girl! Now if I could figure out how to say the same we might both be better off!
Facial features have never mattered to gorillas - no one looks at a female's face if she's got a good rump.
Cats and dogs are better judges of character than people, generally.
dcup: You're correct, of course. I am "deliciously beautiful." That's the beauty of the Internet.
e.a: It's easy! Just say it after me: "I don't give a fuck what I look like!" Now, didn't that feel good?
g.b. That's why I like gorillas! Also, it's interesting that you should say this, because as I was writing my post, I was thinking about Jane Goodall's research with chimps, and how "Flo," who was quite homely by human standards, was the most popular female in the tribe. I guess she had "a good rump!"
dr. z: I couldn't agree more!
I had a face lift last year but when they lifted it, there was another one just like it underneath...
I love you just the way you are.
Fingers: Did you ask for your money back?
Dr. MVM: Oh thank you, dear. And Monkey Love is the best love of all.
Hi Madam Z,
Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting. As for this entry, now I'm sure you weren't being literal but were just employing a poetical device. An actual "ugly" person would not keep a blog as thoughtful or sensitive as this one. As for the picturing accompanying this entry, that's actually what I look like when I let my hair really grow out.
HULLOOOOOOOOO DARLIN'
